TCC can help

Set-Based Thinking™ is not easily taught ... no matter how good the explanation or example, the audience is interpreting it in terms they are familiar with... designing a specific product... point-based design.  Moving to Set-Based is a paradigm shift.  For most, they only learn it when they see it on their own products... on their own knowledge.  For others, even that's not enough... they simply have to do it themselves.

Hence, we have developed a series of workshops designed to teach the methodology and tools by applying them to your real problems... your real products... in the workshop.  A side benefit of that is that many have claimed the workshop paid for itself during the workshop... by helping them solve a problem that they've been wrestling with for a long time.

More importantly, while Set-Based Thinking™ can be done on paper, it is not easy.  Toyota did it on paper... but it took them decades to ramp up that capability.  Some will be able to do it on paper with small problems.  But real-world problems tend to be multi-dimensional... and our brains are really only wired for 2D and 3D visualization.  So, making your knowledge about 4-dimensional, 8-dimensional, 16-dimensional and more problems visible so that all can see is no easy chore with traditional tools.  Our software tools have been designed specifically to make that easy for all decision-makers.

For your leaders, TCC provides training on the questions they should be asking (and the questions they shouldn't), and on how to mentor and empower their teams.

For your decision-makers (managers and technical leads), TCC provides training and tools for visual decision-making and for optimizing trade-offs between decisions based on the available knowledge.

For your teams, TCC provides training and tools for rapid, robust learning, including the LAMDA (Look-Ask-Model-Decide-Act) learning methodology.

For your projects, TCC provides training and tools designed to eliminate wishful thinking and guessing by actively identifying the knowledge gaps that would lead to that, and then leveraging the rapid learning to fill those such that you can say "success is assured" at a very early point.  TCC's Set-Based Convergence™ Tools build on the Set-Based Thinking™ Tools to facilitated decision-oriented scheduling and the management of projects in terms of the decisions (and the knowledge feeding those decisions).

TCC's software, Set-Based Thinking™ Tools, make the techniques easier to learn and much faster to execute.  But both of those advantages are dwarfed by the superior visibility it gives, particularly for multi-dimensional trade-offs.  And its set-based features, particularly the set-based solver, are wholly unique and extremely valuable for early decision-making, prior to having a concrete point-design for the traditional tools to work with.
